CSS is an interdenominational presentation of talks, art exhibits, music and dance performances from multi-cultural faith traditions & other tools for personal discovery. The focus is to foster understanding, tolerance and peaceful co-existence.

PRESS RELEASE "WE ARE ONE"
September 12, 2007 Traverse City. A Celebration of Spirit is the focus of the new Creative Spirit Sundays (CSS) at Just Imagine Creative Center, in Traverse City.
Just Imagine will begin celebrating our community's "living oneness" with a special focus on honoring varied cultural traditions. The core topic is "Peace" - peace within, of self, community, nation, planet; and how each spiritual tradition offers a blueprint for peaceful living. Creative Spirit Sundays will offer presentations, interactive experiences, music performances and visual art exhibits. A multi-media library will be assembled for use and study to expand the tools available and a free interdenominational Meditation Class will be offered.
CSS is a simple way to explore diversity, understanding, tolerance and peace. An eclectic array of traditions will be celebrated such as Judaism, Hindu, Catholic, Protestant, Coptic, Native American, Buddhist and more. "By exposing ourselves to new ideas we may live together more peacefully."
Each Sunday, beginning September 23 rd from 1-3 p.m., community members are invited to learn and celebrate together. Just Imagine, located at 225 W. 14 th St., is a creative multi-cultural center providing superior innovative programs, tools & collaborative relationships that honor our creative self, heritage and genuine potential as human beings. Every 4th Sunday, 1-3pm
Experience the powerful, yet profoundly peaceful ancient meditative music of Harmonic Overtone Chanting and Tibetan Singing Bowls.
Wear comfortable clothes. Blankets are available. Bring your own cushions, blankets or mats if you choose. You will experience a Tibetan style of chanting. In this style voice is used to induce relaxation, to balance chakras and to deepen meditative and peaceful states of mind. The opportunity to enjoy the ancient sounds of Tibetan and other Himalayan singing bowls will also be available.
